Ever wanted to have your own private Zoo Keeper experience with friends or family? Well, things just got a whole lot WILDER here at Australia Zoo, and we’re inviting you to book a Custom Zoo Keeper for a Day Program – so you can enjoy the most amazing day for your special occasion! 

As with all our Zoo Keeper for a Day program, you know you’re going to have first-class access to all the fun and adventure Australia Zoo can offer. Bring along your family and friends for a very special day exploring our beautiful zoo and getting up close with some amazing wildlife. 

With all the action-packed experiences Australia Zoo is famous for, our custom programs can be arranged for groups of up to 8 people on a day to suit your special occasion, family outing or just for the fun of it! So whether you want to celebrate a birthday, anniversary, family get together or a great day adventure with friends, you can’t go past one of our custom Zoo Keeper for a Day program for the ULTIMATE ADVENTURE! 

Our programs are available for three or five hours and led by our experienced education officers and animal keepers. Your Custom Zoo Keeper For a Day adventure includes a range of activities, including enclosure cleans, where you’ll also get an exclusive sneak peek behind-the-scenes talk with some of our knowledgeable animal keepers to learn first-hand about the animals they care for and what it’s like to be zookeeper here at Australia Zoo. You, of course, will also get to enjoy meeting some of our most popular animals up close in your own private encounters. 

After a busy morning with our keepers and animals, you’ll have the opportunity to enjoy a well-deserved break, while watching the jaw-snapping action of our world-famous Australia Zoo Wildlife Warriors show in the 5000 seat Crocoseum. Food can be purchased from the Crikey Café or you can bring your own.
